Ordre de Ciel: Ichiban no Cosplay @ UNDERWORLD – Part 2

Yes, yes, finally! You had to wait until Friday, true – and I will be seeing most of you in a little while – but believe me: no power is greater than bureaucracy! Papers, upon papers, upon contracts, upon, aaaaargh! Enough! It is done now and I am finally free to post away. As you remember, we had left off at 00:05 (24:05 is not quite correct but, oh well…), when I came down from the decks, ceding them to [room302] for his signature hard J-Rocking. Coming down, I bumped into a very… um… lolita-like Chiroto (hereupon mentioned as “Chirolita” and do not even get me started on what THAT brings to mind), the camera nearly falling from my hands. Nearly…

“Speedy, why are you fumbling with your… apparatus? Have you met my new girlfriend, Chirolita? We do wicked shopping together…!”

“Hello, dear sir. Would you like a yoroshiku-kissu?” *Speedgrapher looks around befuddled and pales a little*

Milk: “Ah, Chirolita, here you are! Do not mind her Speedy, she is very… forward… mmm…” (OK, has EVERYONE gone crazy?!)

Better find something more down to earth to–gaaaah!

Speedgrapher: “Oh, haha… Freaking Candy Freak, it’s, um… you.” FCF: “Your point…?”

OK, maybe if I look upwards… Aah…

Whoa, everything’s going pink. I sooo need a drink…

“Okyaku-sama, sake nomitai ka?” (Kabamaroudis, the most in-character cosplayer I have ever seen, given that he speaks very good Japanese AND that is, in fact, sake!).

“Sake wa umai nan da yo!” (Excuse me if I cannot say it as colorfully as you did my friend but my Japanese has reached only a modicum of use).

“Kuchi wo tsukemasu ka, kono umai sake?”

Speedgrapher: “Haaai, arigatou! Honto umai da!” Kaba-san: “Saikou nan da yo!” (It was truly excellent, thank you my friend!).

A little tipsy from the warm sake, I wander near the center-stage, where everyone is getting hyped by [ru-mu], when…

“Hell-o nurse!”

“It’s actually Lust, dear boy. What are you staring at…?” (Countess Bathory as Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist. If anyone else finds what I just wrote unnerving, please tell me!).

“I, uh… well. that is… the Ouroboros! I am looking at your lovely… Ouroboros…” *backing away, as I also spot Larva somewhere around there*

Meanwhile, Kakashi has stolen the Death Note for himself and rigged the vote, leaving starch-coated Near out. “How could I have been such a fool? Tell me, how! It’s against all odds!”

Apparently, the Master Ninja was not content to share the spoils except when it came to the ladies (Lenalee and Roberta), so– Oh, my stars and lollies!

I meant, ‘Oh my stars and garters!’

Er, that is… Oh, blast that Hank McCoy and his stupid exclamations! (An X-Men reference – I just HAD to write it).

“Oneechan, is it my idea or is the man I thought so nice a little… weird?”

“Mais non, mais non! ‘Ecchi’ is not ‘weird’ ma chere… It’s ‘perverted’! Hola!” *instant nosebleed*

“You again? Can’t a – tough as nails, except when it comes to ancient Vampires – female director smoke her cigar in peace?”

Odin: “Uhh… hun? I think he is dying of blood loss.” Integra: “It’s beacause of what he sees. Here, let me get the lights!” *BLAM*

“Speedy-saaaan” I am bejeweling my lips for you!” *instant recovery, runs like hell!*

Chirolita: “Why are you running away from me, naughty boy?” Speedgrapher: “Because, my dear, I told you I look awful with a perm!”

“Ah, he is right, he DOES look awful. I must find me another man, Ploutona.”

“Heeeey, gorgeous! Um, I meant, ooooiii, bishoujo-chan!”

“Oh my! You are so… big and strong…! And hairy too!”

“Subete ga, sake no okage desu! Soshite, tesutosuteronu!”

As the ensuing scene was a bit much for my tender sensibilities, I turned around to find Elina as Android-18 from DBZ! (Not a word, Ergo, I am warning you…).

Yup, villains rarely look this good!

At some point, Nobu made his extraordinary appearance…

… the only one to get the sexy Tiger out of her cage – and not a moment too soon!

Meanwhile, the final ingredient of the KABATZA spirit was restored in UNDERWORLD…

…with a birthday celebration on a Cosplay Party! Happy Birthday Ayami-chan! (17 now – I am just saying).

As the crowd clears, post Death Vote, Midnight Lottery and birthday cake, I notice another – ehm – ‘violent’ scene…!

Speedgrapher: “You know THAT is considered harassment, at the very least, in some countries. Who scratched–” Milk: “Who d’ya think?”

Freaking Candy Freak: “…” Ploutonas: “…” (OK, got it, ‘No Comment’).

All joking aside, you want Visual Kei? This is as good as it gets over here: they are a band (Shiverspine) and Hell if they ain’t Visual!

Seriously, I can think of a couple of other bands you could help out: FCF could do wonders for Plastic Tree’s vocals, Yoshiki would be thrilled to have Ploutonas and, well, Chirolita could replace Yoshiki (there can be only one drag in X-Japan after Hide’s death!).

OK… OK! I was just kidding fer chrissake! Put that gun away, it’s not a prop!

Now, now Nobu-sensei, no need to get all worked up, it’s all in good humor…

“Ooooh, he is SO pumped!” (AS I was saying, ahem, good humor).

This tender and slightly abnormal (Noah & Excorcist) scene is interrupted by the disapproving scrutiny and the deaprture of Roberta (omedetou, Tomodachi-san!).

By the time I return at the scene, the two D.Gray-Man girls have made way for…

…a slightly less odd and yet, passionate couple…

…as Touma has taken off his coat to tango with Vampy-Keru.

Did I say “less odd”? My bad.

“Aww, Tiger-chan like, Tiger-chan want too…”

“Go on, you heard the lady, boy!”

Alas, it was not to be, for fear that this Lady Tiger may have sharp claws, so instead…

…Zauk, Vetus and company joined Touma…

…ever the narcissus but no less handsome.

Although, pretty boys tend to escape my attention, when… well, you get the idea.

“Meowwwrrr, no one plays with me…! How about you Mr. Photographer?” Love to but I am absolutely and horribly dripping with sweat. Wouldn’t want to wet your fur, now…

Outside, Near is fighting his sullenness by keeping company to Ayami, while she unwraps her gifts (a good way, if you ask me).

Here we go again. Now what in blue blazes–

OOO-K… a party has seriously derailed when two guys – the one an Iaido sensei – troll around in a cardboard box, writing “No Place for Hideo”.

Around 03:30 in the morning, just in time for my second set, the glorious producer has turned into an inebriated Visual kid.

Despite the hour, the chaotic fun and the tiredness, “Gekidou” is enough to get Debitto and Lenallee back on the floor…

…while Near– do his cheeks look a little redder to anyone else, too?

“Blue Requiem” from Samurai Deeper Kyo…

…danced in the most weird way I have seen to date.

“Daybreak’s Bell” is surprisingly enough to even get the exahusted [ru-mu] back on his feet! Guy never rolls over.

On the other hand, others slowly begin to enter the Sandman’s realm…

…or are already deep within.

Well, not so deep maybe…

…that Raven’s closing Final Fantasy songs cannot bring them back to their feet!

Well, that was it and I hope you have as much fun reading it as I had making it (sickness notwithstanding). That last one was a bit of Photoshop funzies. That grey, empty space in front of the decks seemed to just BEG for some tweaking. I do not believe there is any need for the usual epilogue but let’s do a token: the party OBVIOUSLY rocked and rocketed to amazing new heights, leaving us only to expect even -hm, how did one of you put it? – “MOAR!”

In the end, as I am posting this, I did not see any of you because, along the way, I started feeling worse and now am kinda sick (bodily, I mean – the mental thing is permanent); not enough for antibiotics, but enough to need to conserve my strength for the coming week… Sorry guys and gals and hope you had a smashing time, yet again.

AA-AAAH-AAAAAAAAH-CHOO! *blows nose*

Oh, I almost forgot (in fact, I forgot it in the first posted version altogether), the second playlist, “Blazing Trailer”. “Blazing” for the obvious showing off, “Trailer” because it was sort of a preview of what I expect to (hopefully) play at BIOS. Right? [ru-mu]-san? Ne, ne? *puppy eyes*
